Google Pixel 5 | Unboxing & Full Tour

Unboxing Google’s Pixel 5 flagship phone, plus a tour of the dual lens camera, Snapdragon 765G performance and best Android 11 features. My full review will hit in a couple of days but here’s all you need to know about the specs and software – and let me know what you think of the Pixel 5 below.

This all-aluminium smartphone is the most premium Google handset of 2020, and a step up from the 4a and Pixel 4a 5G. You get a water resistant design for one, while the Gorilla Glass 5 finish should protect that 6-inch OLED display. That 90Hz refresh rate delivers a super smooth experience as you fly around Android, although the ‘stereo’ speakers aren’t too hot.

Photo quality is on point from the 12.2MP main camera sensor, along with light portrait and nightscape mode smarts. You’ve also got a 16MP UWA lens on the Pixel 5, just like the 4a 5G. Gaming on PubG, Call of Duty and other Android titles isn’t a problem courtesy of the 765G, which is also power efficient and boasts built-in 5G.

My review will test out the camera tech, gamer experience, battery life and other bits, and you can see my Pixel 5 vs 4a 5G vs 4a comparison soon to see how Google’s smartphones all stack up.
