DIY Floating Desk with AWESOME Computer Cable Management! | How to | Home Office Makeover Part 1

This video is the start of my home office makeover and I am starting by building a custom floating desk.
The desk itself is only wall mounted and fits perfectly in an alcove. The desk has a .75” thick by 88” wide by 26” deep top made from oak, walnut, maple and cherry in a custom pattern. Below I am building a frame made from 2×4’s that will add a ton of strength and will also be extremely helpful for cable management when the computer is put back.
I’m excited to share how to build this floating desk and then in the next videos how it will become the ultimate cable management and home office workstation for me. I believe this is a DIY project that just about anyone can modify to the workspace they are using. I did use a few tools that not everyone has but you can achieve the same results without all these tools.
