So just a quick video to let people know that there is no DeX Mode I the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.

After months of speculation on YouTube and various online outlets, where people were saying that they had it on good authority that Samsung were going to bring DeX to the Flip series with the Flip 5. Now that I have the Flip 5, I can confirm that it does not have DeX Mode.

This is very disappointing as I’ve had many Samsung smartphones and tablets that have had DeX, including my S23 Ultra, and it’s a fantastic function.

What’s really odd is that for the first time we now have video screen mirroring via USB C to HDMI on the Flip series with the new Flip 5. Now, while this is a very welcome addition to the functionality of the Flip 5. It’s really odd, because this proves that the Flip 5 is definitely capable of sending video out of its USB C port to HDMI for connection to a TV or computer monitor. So if it can do that, why not DeX?
