Hi, I’m Christian Montoya, Senior PM Manager on the Windows Cloud Experiences Team at Microsoft. Each month, I host a live one-hour Ask Microsoft Anything (AMA) event to discuss what’s new and help out with what is top of mind when it comes to Windows in the cloud. Our AMAs alternate between Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop, but one thing is always the same. 12:10 – Since nested virtualization is supported in Windows 365, our Linux users are fine with using WSL/Dockers but some wish to use the GUI Ubuntu and so we are testing out creating a Ubuntu hyper-V VM. Any recommendations to use the hyper-v, like the cloud pc specifications, limitations etc.?
13:40 – What is the best and most efficient way to run a report for the last login or connection time stamp for Windows 365 Cloud PC users?
17:20 – We use Windows 365 Frontline. Does the utilization report also work for shared PCs (device level) or it by user? Once I see the info, how do I then set alerts to make sure we don’t exceed our max?
