Automate Daily, Weekly, Monthly Status Updates using power automate

Power Automate Example: Update Status Column
Scenario:
You have a SharePoint list or document library where you want to track the status of items (e.g., tasks, projects, approvals).
You need to update a specific column (let’s call it “Status”) based on predefined intervals (daily, weekly, and monthly).
Solution:
We’ll create a Power Automate flow that triggers at the specified intervals and updates the status column accordingly.
Steps:
1. Create a SharePoint List or Document Library:
Set up a list or library in SharePoint where you’ll store the items you want to track.
2. Create a Flow in Power Automate:
Go to the Power Automate home page and create a new flow.
Choose a trigger that suits your needs (e.g., Recurrence, Button, etc.).
3. Add Actions to the Flow:
Use the “Update item” action to modify the status column.
Set conditions based on the current date to determine whether the status should be updated daily, weekly, or monthly.
4. Configure the Flow:
Specify the SharePoint site, list, and item you want to update.
Set the “Status” column value based on the interval (e.g., “In Progress,” “Completed,” etc.).
5. Test and Publish:
Test your flow to ensure it works as expected.
Once satisfied, publish the flow.
