We have been tracking the progress of the Bitcoin ecosystem for almost 2 years now and it is clear, the existing ecosystem is in a development race to figure out where the next leg of functionality will emerge. The markets native to Bitcoin are in stagnation some part to an overall macro slump in the crypto markets, but also attributed to a lack of liquidity mechanisms for the tokens that are generated. Bitcoin DeFi has the potential to kickstart a new inflection point similar to the introduction of AMMs on Ethereum did last cycle. The candidates to usher in the proper innovation to enable this to occur are growing progressively. We go over some of the progress that is being made in this initiative and speak on what separates them.
