Event registration via QR Code using the Power Platform

In this demo I will showcase an end to end set of processes enabling a user to sign up for an event via a Microsoft Form, Power Automate and a Power App to validate a users attendance using QR Codes. As part one of this demonstration, I will then show you how to build the Power Automate Cloud Flow.

The processes are as follows:
A prospective attendee will complete a Microsoft Form that will capture their name and email.

A Power Automate Cloud Flow is triggered which will in turn create a SharePoint List Item / record and generate a unique GUID for the user. An email is sent with a QR code for the GUID to the user.

On event day, the user attends and a Canvas App is used to scan the QR to ensure that they are registered and recorded as attending.
