A NetEng’s View of Kubernetes
- 2024.11.14
- コンテナ化

While as network engineers, we may think of Kubernetes as a 10-letter word meaning “a world of pain and hurt”, many application and cloud teams are rapidly pushing their applications to this new style of environment because of the scheduling, management, and flexibility it provides. As it grows in popularity, the knowledge and understanding of what Kubernetes is and how to interact and operate with it is going to be an in-demand skill. In this session, we’ll provide an overview of Kubernetes, how to deploy a small topology on a laptop, how to view running pods and deployments, and how to deploy an application. Attendees will come away with a basic introduction to the platform to allow them to continue their exploration.
