How to Convert Documents to Text, Write Text to PDF in Power Automate

In this video, you will learn how to convert a wide range of document types – including Excel XLSX, Word DOCX, and PowerPoint PPTX – to plain text and subsequently write that text to a new PDF document in Power Automate. This process removes all rich text formatting from the original document while retaining the same relative text positioning.

This example flow uses two Cloudmersive Document Conversion connector actions – Convert Document to Text and Convert Document to PDF. In order to use any Cloudmersive connector in Power Automate, you will need a free API key, which can be acquired by creating a free account on the Cloudmersive website.
